At this point another knock at my door announced the arrival of my lawyers. When I turned around I saw something out of a movie my lawyers curtsied to Jane and James and it made me cover a laugh. ( well I was young what did I know). When everyone was seated Jim asked well what's going on? It seems you and the judge are correct thanks to the Judge by the time we got to the offices of the young masters lawyers the police had the offices locked down and it was easy to get the paper work, and computer geeks are dumping everything into there whatever there called. From just a brief look the young man was not represented even remotely adequately as to violations of law that still has to be determined. But we are ready to file and sue for compensation for Tim. All he said was good see to it. They then turned to me and said as representatives of the legal profession we have our apology for what you went through at the hands of the courts. But you should know is you have more money then you realize, your father had a big insurance policy that paid double because of accident. And this was not made known to you under the excuse that if what happened the foreclosure you would need money for school and living. This was in our eyes a miscarriage of responsibility on the part of your lawyer because there was ample money to pay off the mortgage on the ranch as well as the taxes for 4 years at witch time you would be out of school and be able to work the ranch full time.
Something in my face must have shone it, when I heard miss. Jane say that's enough Tim don't go there you are to young. Then sir James said Tim its not a road you ever want to go down. Leave it to me and the judge and these lovely ladies and if death is needed well I am winterbourne.( At the time I did not understand what he meant I learned much later what he meant by that when I heard the song.) Even after what had happened for some reason I trusted him and tried to let it go.
