A Recovering Pick-me

All my random sexy and non-sexy hyper-fixations and such.

I just needed some help writing a scene. The story I'm writing is basically the woman is working at a new job, she does janitorial work, it's set in the 1940's, and she has big love obsession with the head of one of the departments. She's kind of shy and does what she is told. The guy she likes is handsome, but he has a quick temper. She has to clean one of his offices that he keeps private. She starts looking around at his private office and she is caught off guard by his presence. Now the next scene I guess I am trying to figure out how to give it some kind of sexual tension. Maybe she should have a lot of thoughts/fantasies going on in her head of what she would want him to do to her. Not sure where to go next, some ideas would be great, thanks!

Richlydefined(sub female){Gardener} - If it were something I was writing I'd play with the idea of having her leave after running into him but have her notice that he is watching intently as she leaves. From there she can start thinking about why and what she interpreted that look to mean. What is he thinking? Is he thinking like she is? then insert her thoughts (like you stated above) about it and have her notice him watching as she walks by when she's working throughout her week or what have you until you build up to more interactions between them.

Richlydefined(sub female){Gardener} - No probs, I just happened to catch your post by chance but feel free to send me a message if you ever have questions or anything. I've been part of various writing communities since I was a teenager and spend a lot of time helping people come up with things like this and work through plot bunnies, its just second nature at this point. controlTPE - Theoretically you could write out an entire scene, where her fantasy happens. But it's all in her head in that one moment. Maybe nothing needs to actually happen as it can be played out purely in thought. Then you can take away the "realism" of the situation and go wild?

TranquilStorm - How about before they can interact they both start to witness a scene of other members of the department getting it on (good old infidelity card?) ... In a way sexual tension builds by proxy. Depending on how you want to go about your story you could develop this in all kind of directions.
