Yesterday Master was working on a project and i was busy making dinner and it wasn't until after dinner was finished and the clean up complete that we both sat down to enjoy His favorite television show.
There was no signal, i checked my phone and sure enough there was no connection.
i am the technology guru so was assigned the task of trouble shooting. i checked the connections, reboot the system with no luck, then i remembered that Masters project was behind and under the house.
i started to go outside and He barked,"Where the Hell are you going?" i just smiled and keeped going.
Sure enough He had cut the internet cable and had trown it in the trash thinking it was an old cable.
i came back inside and handed him the cut cable. He looked in disbelief! "What the Hell!" He said. i said quietly "You cut the cable, Sir."
The shit hit the fan as they say but none of the agitation was directed at me.
He said things that have been directed at me though. He said, "I am such a knucklehead!" "That was so stupid!"
Lol! Yes, i was enjoying this just a bit! Inwardly of course.
i quickly said "Lets go right now before the hardware story closes and get the supplies You need to fix this!"
W/we jumped in the car and off W/we went, got the new cable, cable cutting tool, connectors and plugs. Got back just before dark and fixed the mess.
This is probably one of the best life lessons!
Sometimes it's better to just remain silent and smile!
