Darkness falls
Moonlight shines
Rivers flow into the brook
It twists and winds
On you lap I sit as you rock me to sleep
No need for me to count the sheep.
Daddy is all this little girl needs
To love me and nurture me like a seed
Tuck me in Daddy very tight
He kisses my forehead and says good night
I love my Daddy and this is no lie
So I end this poem by saying good bye
