Experiments in Wax

Good morning Indigo Fam,

I have a question for my followers 🤔. My Dom and I are introducing new items to our play time. One such item I have been curious about for years..hot wax. I understand that there is a special type of wax you must use. I bought a 3 pack set that said it was body safe....well that shit burned like hell. To those who have used hot wax before, is that normal or did I get the wrong wax. Maybe we used it wrong. It was dripped on my breast and belly. Please share you experiences.

Lion(dom male){Hazel Eyes} - Did you buy paraffin or soy? Paraffin wax burns hotter, if being used it needs to be dropped from a higher level not just next to the skin. The make soy candles that burn not as intense, my lioness recommends these. What ever you have try using your forearm to test at what height feels good without the intense pain.

MountaintopMaster - I specifically remember the Loving BDSM podcast once mentioned exactly that: they tried some candles that burned like he'll, and then found the good ones. I forget the brand of the good ones though so I'm not very useful am I, haha.

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - I did a neutral color to coat then did my color on top closer for design. Might just have to do again soon. What is hot to one may not be to another. Do what's comfortable for you. Distance is important, along with type. NEVER use anything with glitter, metal burns like hell. Mine are in jars so they pool then I pour. If it's tapered allow it to run down the candle just a little before it drips off, it allows it to cool an extra second which makes a difference. Google wax bdsm there's a lot out there actually. I've even used glade and bath and body works.
