You touch my life,
When I am down you bring me up,
You arms reach into the deepest crevices on earth,
To hold, heal and help me.
I have been to the bottom,
Faced the the final reckoning,
Yet those arms stopped my descent,
And guided me.
For me I am here,
Happy, free in the light
But carry the scars of memories,
Of bad times still remain.
You carried my burden,
Shared the grief, encouraged the joy,
You bring in new life
You guide old life away.
You struggle
Even more now,
Through tough times,
You are still there.
People will shout,
People will swear,
But still you toil,
Showing you care.
So please continue
You are preciously than gold,
And when you shift finishes,
I will be there to hold.
All I want to say is thank you to all the health professional out there who risk their lives everyday in the pursuit of our health, most poignant now in the current clime, but when this is over and it will be be, they still will be on the front line waiting to arrest your fall.
