I’m a product of the Cold War. Im not very proud of that.

Im in a moral dilemma. The pshrink just tells me to relax.

The employment of nuclear weapons was my chosen trade.

Now im being told to relax.

I’m not sure what I’m trying to say. Sympathy is never acceptable. Everyone makes choices.

In my profile picture, I’m the one in the middle. Everyone avoids the middle. It’s a dark place. No one volunteers to be in the middle.

I’m not sure where I’m going with this. I’m just trying to get a handle on my thoughts.

Bunnie - The middle is the loneliest place to be. We’re always expected to pick a side. In the middle you fall in the cracks. Sometimes it helps just to get thoughts out there. They don’t have to have reason. Thank you for sharing them with us :)

Satindragon - I hope you write more. Even if you don't write here, maybe do a regular journal. The nice thing about a paper journal is that any time you need to burn those thoughts, they can go up in smoke. Don't let that darkness creep in. We have a good community here, share with us. I hope you have a blessed day.

CrimsonPaw - The middle is difficult, for sure. And it's definitely not the best place to be when being told to relax. If only it was that easy. Keep writing though. Getting thoughts written out is sometimes the best way to handle those thoughts.
