The only gender distinction in our framework relates to the chest. A bare male chest is clean content and is permitted everywhere. Visible female breasts or nipples are nudity-level content and are restricted to the members-only area. Everything else (buttocks, genitals, and sexual acts) is assessed identically regardless of gender.
The members-only area means any part of the site that requires a logged-in, age-affirmed account to access. If your profile or blog is set to visible to registered users only, nudity-level content is permitted there. If your profile or blog is publicly visible (meaning anyone visiting THE CAGE can see it without logging in), nudity-level content must not appear there. You can restrict your profile and blog to registered users only in your blog settings and in Preferences. If you are unsure whether your content is publicly visible, check your privacy settings before posting.
Only with their explicit consent. You must not post images of other individuals (whether members of THE CAGE or not) without their knowledge and agreement. This applies regardless of the content level of the image. If someone asks you to remove an image of them, you must do so promptly.
If you are unsure, don't post it. You are welcome to contact us at support@thecage.co for guidance before uploading. Ask yourself: am I confident this is allowed? If the answer is anything other than yes, check with us first.
The protection of minors is our highest priority. No image of a person under 18 is permitted anywhere on the platform under any circumstances, including non-sexual images. There are no exceptions. This applies in any medium: drawings, renders, and AI-generated imagery are treated exactly like photographs where the depiction is sexualised. If you are unsure whether a person in an image could be under 18, do not post it.
Report it immediately using the report function on the relevant content, or contact a staff member directly. Do not wait: if you are unsure, report it and let our team assess it. Reports involving suspected minors are our highest priority.
You can report any content using the report button on the relevant post, image, or profile. Our moderation team will review the report and take action where necessary. Please make sure you are confident a piece of content is in violation before reporting; abuse of the reporting system is not tolerated and may result in sanctions against the reporter.
Yes. If a post of yours is removed following a report, an alert marker appears on your blog. Open it to see the report and submit an appeal directly from that page. Our team will review your appeal and you will receive the outcome by email.
Yes. If a photo was restricted under our Content Policy, the fastest way to appeal is your Review my photos page, where you can request a human review with one click. For anything else, contact us at support@thecage.co with details of the content removed and your reasons for requesting a review. We will consider all appeals fairly.
Yes. Uploaded images are assessed by automated tools. Content identified as not meeting our standards may be automatically restricted from display. If that happens to your content, you can always request a human review; appeals are reviewed by a person, and account-level actions are only ever taken by a human member of our team.
