Loves

Expressing Interest and Making Connections

What does it mean when someone "Loves My Profile"?

People "love" profiles for different reasons. Sometimes it's flirting, sometimes it's a friendly nudge or wink, and other times it's simply appreciation for how you've chosen to present yourself. It's a fun and easy way to show interest or admiration.

When someone loves your profile, you'll receive a notification letting you know.

How do I love someone's profile?

To love a profile, visit the member's profile page and click the heart icon beneath their name at the top of their profile.

The other member will be notified that you've loved their profile, making it a great way to break the ice or show interest.

How do I remove a love from someone's profile?

You can remove a love by returning to that member's profile and clicking the heart icon again.

If you change your mind, you can love the same profile again. However, the other member will not receive a new notification for 30 days.

Why can't I love this profile?

If you've blocked a member, or they have blocked you, you will not be able to love their profile and they will not be able to love yours.

Where do I find my Loves?

You can view your Loves by selecting Loves from the main menu, or by clicking the heart icon on your own profile.

There you'll find:

  • Loved Me – members who have loved your profile
  • I Loved – profiles you've loved

Who can see the profiles I've loved?

Your Loves lists are private. Only you can view the profiles you've loved and the members who have loved you.

What happens if a profile is deactivated or no longer exists?

If a profile is deactivated or otherwise no longer active, it will no longer appear in your Loves lists.

What is a Mutual Love?

If you and another member have both loved each other's profiles, this creates a Mutual Love or Match.

You'll both receive a notification, so you know the interest is shared.

Do Premium members get any extra Love features?

Yes. Premium members can see when they loved a profile, shown on the heart icon on that member's profile page.

It's a nice added benefit that gives a little more context to your connections.

How do I message someone after a Mutual Love?

When you and another member have both loved each other's profiles, you'll see a "Break the ice" prompt on their profile page.

Clicking it will take you to the message compose screen. If you're not yet a Premium member, you'll have the option to upgrade or start a free trial so you can send that first message.

You'll also receive a notification with a direct link to start a conversation — so you can act on the moment right away.
