Friend list

It doesn't appear to be a way to see my friend list or allow it to appear on my profile(if I  choose).  If this is the case,  I would definitely want that feature.

Ah,  ok, I was expecting on sight notifications.   

As for the avatar,  it lets me select the one I want from my phone images and then appears to be loading but then nothing happens.

I see those terms as more of a style descriptor than an actual discussion.  Kind of like "risk adverse" in the finance world.  Describes an overall approach/personality.
