Actually, I'd like to rephrase this just a bit:
The thing here is, you are still husband and wife for *BOTH* parties. You just take on a different role, (slightly), for each. " You are still husband and wife AND dom and sub for *BOTH* parties. It's a question of how much formality, ritual, or protocol you take on for each. Hopefully this helps to clarify the waters rather than muddy them further.
