Now what you're getting at has something to do with respect when you started on this road to ruin by saying women make no contribution to the creation , nor the maintenance, of the infrastructure civilization depends upon. Mishka mopped the floor with you when she explained how it was women who provide the underpinnings, the math and science, for infrastructure that exists today and you showed no respect for her argument. It was a woman who figured out the formula for putting a planetary object into orbit. It was a woman who figured out mrna vaccines, and it was a woman who built the Brooklyn Bridge. That all holds no water for you, I know.
It's not that women couldn't design and build the infrastructure we have now. They just weren't allowed to. Men who's masculinity still feels threatened by a woman who can strangle a bolt still discourage women's participation in the creation and maintenance of infrastructure. Throughout history when women created and contributed, men took the credit.
You say this is about respect and somehow don't see how disrespectful you are when you say if there were no men, women would have no infrastructure.
When I read that, I thought about my first day working on a fishing boat in Alaska. We were anchored in a line of boats waiting to make our set. I look out at another boat and there's this female captain who's just finished her set. She had taken off her rain gear and was sunning on the top wheel house deck. She was a beautiful woman who could probably have anything she wanted. If you know anything about fishing boats, you'd know a captain has to be a master mechanic, master navigator, master businessman and crew master. This woman was a boss who commanded respect because she was more capable than the 3 men who crewed her boat. I doubt seriously you'd cut the mustard working for her, and I'd love to hear you tell her how helpless women would be without men. She'd be so fucking amused.

Yes men do like women but then not all men are willing to submit and right now not all women want to submit as well .

I interpret this question more about the person. Doesn't matter what gender they are. Do you like them. I don't like arrogant, pompous ass men and I don't care for women who are constantly damsel in distress. But that is over generalizing. Not all men are like that and not all women. We are like flavors of ice cream. We are different.

Yes, we do like women. At least most of us do.
And many of us want a good, stable, and committed relationship with you. It turns out that, in the States at least, men are the more stable and committed partner and we are becoming the better parent. This was not always true.

The problem is online dating and the massive amount of attention that you receive just for having a profile. Your profile doesn't even need a picture.
And for men (top or bottom... it doesn't matter) the mindboggling lack of any attention that we receive is consistent across all types of sites (dating, forums, social media... that doesn't matter either). We work hard to get noticed. We compete against hundreds of other men. We're the ones to read your profiles; you don't read ours. We reach out to you with unique and clever messages, always trying to stand out. We read profile after profile, emblazoned with DOs and DON'Ts for us to navigate. Women wait for men to flood in and then complain that they can't find the right man. You post on a forum like this and men rush in to comment. You write in your journal, and it gets read by scores of people, many who leave comments. We create a journal entry, sometimes exposing our soul, and we are like voices in the dark.

We like you women, we really do.
But we get tired of competing all the time just to get noticed. And most of us eventually realize that the ROI is non-existent on these sites. But when we work on ourselves, our bodies, our finances, our jobs, our vanilla friendships, etc., this proves to have immediate reward. So, we walk away from you.

I rarely come on this site anymore because it has little value to me. I very much want a woman to cherish in my life; someone to pamper, to adore, to think about all day.

But the women who spend so much time online... you're not the ones we want.
We will fantasize about you. We will look at your profiles and check out your pictures. We will send you a few messages.
But you're not the ones we want.
 

Okay, I tried to ignore this for two days. I can't.
If I were a woman I'd be scared of you.
You'd blame me for all your disappointments, frustrations, and failures.
I'd be every woman who never gave you the attention you crave, never replied to your messages, wasn't attracted to you, or, otherwise, rejected you.

Many people are not going to like what I said. It's going to irritate them and fester, as it did with you. Many will be offended and become defensive, as it did with you. And some, as with you, will lash out.

A question was asked in openness, and it was answered in honesty. What you do with it is your choice. The person who asked the question can read through my comments and potentially gain insight. Or, like you, that person can completely dismiss them. It doesn't matter to me.

The words are out there and they are now their own living entity. Insulting me is not going to change that. They are one view of many. It was not written to be cordial. It was written to be honest.
