My limited experience on other sites is that people wanting to chat or get to know more want to carry the conversation on to Zangi and in both cases ended up asking for money - not overly large amounts but it was meant to be a proof ofsubmission and loyalty. All within one session of messaging.

This has made me wary, also about what to post Zangi in terms of images.

asking for money is ridiculous. Maybe ask for an exchange of photos in a certain hand position so that you know that they’re real and they’ve done what you’ve specifically asked them to so you know that they’re real.. or asking for a photo ID with the specific address details blocked, but so that you know they’re real. That’s how they do verification on discord servers.
But yeah, never give money just to prove that you’re real that’s bullshit.

I think that is more about what some people are using these sites for, and praying on people's concerns about what others in our life might find out.

I certainly think the process is slow and steady, as others have put up. Develop the trust and reign back your excitement, desire or need to try to play with someone other than by yourself.

Clearly talking to myself there, there is a great thrill about the exchange that goes on.

I agree. Good point. I too think that people use the fact that some are excited and anxious to find what they're looking for. They use it as leverage. That's human nature I suppose.

Replying to the original post only:

Long Distance is, in and of itself, a challenge. But from my perspective, even seeking friends, regular or semi-regular conversation is key.

Please also pay attention to if the person's words match their actions. Also anyone who holds information back, be careful.

this and you can do a basic background check for free, and a minimal fee if you want to go a bit deeper.

I am the most trusting person out there I will look for the best in everyone. I will take their word for it. I will ask lots of questions. get deep in conversations. If you want to trust someone you have to be prepared for every skeleton. and you yourself have to be just as open.

If I might join in the discussion, I find that for me, trust comes easy. I see the best in others all the time. I would add, if I've reached the point of talking to someone or even considering spending time with them in any fashion, I've already established some level of common interests and it's exciting.

However as I've often been reminded in personal and professional life, "Trust but verify."

Verification takes time and some effort. Conversations. The hardest thing is holding back the reins when you want to run free with a new adventure or individual who strikes all the right cords. I think especially meeting others over the internet where you only see those elements that you might have in common (dare I say, some kinky little enticements) is very intoxicating. It's hard to temper that excitement.

As others have said very well above, take the time to get to know them. When it becomes necessary, vet them. And enjoy the journey instead of rushing to the destination. Some of the joys of a new relationship are finding out all the interesting and intriguing aspects. And in finding out, you might discover it isn't the fit you initially thought. In which case, no harm no foul. Wish each other a great day!

Best wishes on your adventures!

I agree with the other posters and will add that trust often begins with how much we trust ourselves to be able to handle what life and other people throw at us.

It is important that we dont approach others from a place of "wanting" or any type of desperation. Instead be at peace and whole within yourself.

Trust and verify. Ask questions. Vet, vet and vet somemore. Stick to your boundaries and limits. Say NO and see what happens.
Dont force the fit.
