What’s your opinion on race play? Personally the idea of it turns me on like hell. Both me being dominant as well as submissive. However it remains a fantasy for now. Who knows how I would feel if it were to play out irl.

I also think trauma has a lot to do with it. Past experiences of racism, xenophobia etc. childhood trauma and abuse.

What do you think? Is it a no go, no matter what? Or is it okay as long as it’s consensual?

I had an experience that involved race play, although I didn't know it was his thing until we had already started. It was clearly important to him, and I had no issue with it. I think it just increased the intensity.

I think there was a topic about this a few months ago, (Wish I could find it or I'd link to it) and I while I can see why it would be controversial for some, I don't think we should judge. I personally always strive to be color-blind, but if people fetishize a certain ethnic demographic, or prefer a certain ethnic demographic, then there is nothing wrong with that; it isn't that different than, say, me liking redheads.

I respect your candidness and thank you for sharing. Newbie to the site here but I would like to give my 2 cents. I grew up in a smaller town and you could say I was a big fish in a small pond. When I was immature I was a bit of a egotistical prick but as I've matured and had some humbling experiences I would like to think that I've grown into a well rounded human being. My ex cheated on me and it was with a black male. That was the first time I had ever been cheated on, as I was the one usually having my cake and eating it to. Well it turns out that he was a very well hung male and my ex admitted that she preferred a well endowed male only after that. We tried to make it work but my ego at the time would not allow me to share her in any type of capacity with anyone else. That happened around 10ish years ago but it has stuck in my mind. Again, I was always the best in 99.9% of things that I participated in and if I was bested, I was always able to redeem myself. In this case I was not able to do anything about it because it just came down to genetics and I was beaten hands down.

To tie it back into the subject, I do enjoy seeing white women with hung black males. But I also enjoy seeing interracial no matter the race of the two individuals involved. To echo what @TXGoldenGoddess said, I think consent is the key to it all.
