sissyfication in reproducing mysogyny

Sissification is not the same as gender norms. It is not even close.

Women deal with misogyny 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It isn't the same as when women did not have the right to vote in the US. When women were considered property. What about when women do the same job as men but for less pay? Women have been treated as less than for thousands of years.

I don't think that I said anywhere, that folks who practice sissyfication have the same experience as women in general right? If so I'm sorry that's definitely not what I meant!

My question was more in the direction of, if by reinforcing and reproducing those stereotypes (that have developed over said thousands of years) we actually do more harm in distorting our own perception of womanhood?

This isn’t my area as I never indulged in certain stereotypes. Most woman who asked about the bottom thing if they caught wind of it always opened with some of the most tedious assumptions they took as a matter of fact.

Partly i think from internalized misogyny ( in a round about way) and partly from a shallow idea about personhood and human identity.

I do relate to the craving for vulnerability that seems to be the through-line on a broader spectrum. Maybe because it’s impressed upon boys to find that undignified for them on top of all the cancerous ideals they’re conditioned to believe in for what life should be and what they’re entitled to. A particularly insidious main character syndrome

I’m uncertain of what wrongheaded mentalities could be present in the sissification realm overall but it does *sometimes* seem a bit influenced by social cliches from my limited pov
