Misogyny kink ~ what’s your biggest pet peeve, as a Dom?

As a Dominant who might be or is interested in miso-kink, what happens to be your biggest pet peeve that you run into often?

Hatred of women, as a kink? Frankly, anyone who hates women, I personally want nothing to do with.

Good evening. Chiming in from the gallery. ☺️

I had to look it up just to be certain I knew what I was speaking about. A misogyny kink isn't about hating women. It's a kink about the power dynamic being amplified regarding the gender difference. An example (poor or otherwise) would be role playing that the woman or women are worthless and "less" than the Dominant man. An extreme power exchange in attitude. It falls in line with a degradation kink and may even seem a tad like race play, just instead of race it's gender. As a kink I'm guessing it would be a great deal of roleplaying.

I'm guessing a pet peeve of those might be being confused as hating women. 😳

Some Dominants who may get into it might be into it because their submissive desires it more than they do. Or they may just want to feel completely "superior". Not my thing so I cannot really answer the OP question.

From a Lifestyle philosophy point, Misogamy presents an interesting subject:

Since there are those that practice such things as Race play and Religious play, Misogamy should fit right in one would think. The main problem is whether it is just play, or would such practice be used to cover up real hatred of women. Let's say a supposed practitioner of this subject does so in a public play area. How does a DM defernite real from play?

Next would be how does a sub understand what the Dom/me does? I mean, let's face it: Abusers are going to filter in and use this as an excuse.

But then turn that around, and what if a female sub who really wants to be hated eggs on a Dom/me to do it. How do they draw the line?

Like I said, an interesting discussion point.

I made that very point, and gained being called names for doing so.

From the OP?

That would explain why that profile no longer exists.

I figured it was a "gotcha" post but from a theory viewpoint, it is still fairly interesting.

As we are discussing this in good gentle sorts, I would add like many of our indulgences, having a misogyny fetish may scratch an itch but the individuals involved may not necessarily "hate" women or the women may not really desire to be hated. Much like racist play or religious play, I doubt some of those involved really want to "be" racist or experience true racism or sexism or what have you.

Very much like no one is truly a slave in the lifestyle beyond their own choice, which is probably the most alluring aspect of it to some. They are fulfilling something within them.

Although I would tend to agree with dollMaker - if someone is truly and really a hater, of any sorts, I probably don't need them in my life. Too much negative. Unless it's sweet potatoes - I hate them. You can hate sweet potatoes.

ps. Actually I don't hate sweet potatoes but for a very long time, it was not my favorite food. Still isn't but I don't hate them. 😁
