Juzt me cj , in the simplest answer: petplay is a form of bdsm play when the submissive takes on the role of a pet (an animal of some sort) and is treated as such by his/her dominant.

Petplay for me is something fun but it’s very light and fluid. I don’t really get into petspace so when I play I’m still completely in the mindset that I’m a person who’s just having fun. My personality is very kittenish (sweet, cuddly, attention seeking from her owner, and a bit mischievous) so during playtime I like to crawl and be pet and both coddled and chastised like a tiny adorable pet. But that isn’t a requirement for playtime, it’s just one form of many types of play.

I never get to be treated like a pet that often, but i fantasize about having to wear a collar and buttplug tail, and be someones 24/7 pet and toy.
