1995 Tercel. It was built without A/C

That was also the last year they imported those. 1996 or maybe later they started building them here. But always reliable. I got it with 63000 miles on it and it finally had to go (rust) with 303,000 miles.

I drove around a lot I guess.

Lucky Miki! Hahaha. My Tercel was a death trap. It had this thing for wanting to drive into very steep embankments and take me with it. 🤣 It almost succeeded.

Same year? I know those were very small, but then again so am I at 5'. Never had safety issues with it but also in my state they have mandatory safety inspections. I was surprised when I learned that some states do not, notably California where they only do S. M. O. G. checks. Or so it was back when I was in grad school.

Everything on mine was original except the battery. But that battery was one they stopped making, a "Panasonic" and it lasted all but two years I had the car.

Now I have a fairly large vehicle-- that I have to climb into but it makes me feel tall and imposing... until I park and get out.

It drinks a lot more gas but I don't drive nearly as much.

Traffic and stoplights annoy the shit out of me, almost as bad as plain black font on blogs frosts Topeka's ass.

In any community, especially one where the dialogue revolves around unconventional interests like BDSM, fostering open communication is essential. When rules are imposed that limit members' ability to post or engage frequently, we inadvertently stifle the very essence of connection that our community thrives on. Every question, no matter how trivial it may seem, can provide a much-needed escape for someone grappling with the weight of reality, a safe place for someone just discovering BDSM, and/or a place for some to just fuck with others. Haha. For many, these discussions represent a vital outlet for expression in a world that often shuns their desires and identities. Far from being merely "kinky," this is about creating a welcoming environment where curiosity and exploration are celebrated.

While moderation has its place to ensure safety and respectful discourse, we must remember the importance of flexibility and tolerance. If a post or comment doesn't resonate with you, you have the autonomy to engage or simply walk away—there's no obligation to react. This grace in choosing our responses helps cultivate a more respectful and understanding community. However, when faced with harmful speech or misinformation, it becomes imperative to intervene, ensuring a safe space for all. Think of it as embracing the diversity of voices, nurture connections, and remember that true community flourishes when we allow everyone a chance to shine, inquire, and share their authentic selves without fear of retribution.

In a world where diversity of thought fuels innovation and personal growth, it’s crucial to embrace the reality that not everyone will share our opinions—and that’s perfectly okay. Each disagreement is not a confrontation, but an opportunity for dialogue, for learning, and for expanding our own perspectives. When we welcome differing viewpoints, we not only demonstrate respect for others' individuality, but we also cultivate a richer, more nuanced understanding of the world around us. It’s this very tapestry of ideas that drives society forward, helping us challenge the status quo and think critically.

As far as ordering blogs based off engagement, I disagree. In my professional life this is something new that leadership decided to change in a forum that my organization moderates and it's honestly awful and confusing. You can't tell what's new and what is old information that someone decided to engage with. That's how forum is currently set up. Sometimes while it's helpful because things get buried, it makes no sense for blogs. If there's someone you enjoy reading the blog, favorite it or something.

I'm 5 foot as well and mine was a 1993. The radio never worked, you had to really pull the steering wheel left to get it to turn that way. Good luck getting it to climb a hill. That car I swear literally said "This is the hill I'm dying on" as the transmission FELL from the car.

The thing is the moderation here is quiet.

I mean really quiet.

Users here have to remember that Cage is based outside the United States. Those that do the moderation live outside the US. There is a culture difference on how moderation is handled.

I've been dinged twice: Once on a blog, second on a forum post. The blog get me an email telling me it was taken down and the forum post just vanished with no communication. I figured I deserved both, so never questioned it.

I also know two people who have had blog posts removed cuz someone was "offended". What it really was the people who complained didn't like what they read for a political reason. In both cases, the blogs were restored after review and I believe one of the people who complained got their wee wee smacked (in a non consenting way).

Now this crap about "what's hot" popularity contest is one of the reasons Fet is the stinking cesspool it is today. Their Kinky & Popular used to have interesting photos about Real D/s and stories and blog posts. Now it is shit filled influencer bullshit where S&M means Stand & Model.

We already have the forum posts that rotate due to latest reply, but leave the fucking blogs alone.

You want people to read your blog? Work at it and post once a day.

You really want people to read your blog? QUIT FUCKING USING A BASIC BLACK FONT!

TD,

You don't the black font?

I don't what happened to the forum about there being more than average number of BBW's on The Cage, but it seems to me that have the block feature, and I know that people report frequently when they don't 'like', disagree, people they seem to this, that, and all the other complaints I have read here on this forum.
Jesus H. Christ.

I agree with the K&P on Fet. Occasionally, there are still some good debating going on in some of the groups. Where one can express themselves w/9 being labeled.

LMAO, Built w/o a/c. My second car was a '72 or '73 Honda Civic, 3 speed shift, No air, but damn you could put $3 bucks in and ride and ride. It was orange, I called it the pumpkin. I flipped it, and bought a white one w/ a blown motor, my Dad put the Pumpkin's motor into that one. I drove that car for for 4 more years before getting T-boned.

Good times.

I half agree.

The whole car isn't broken just because the AC cuts in and out. Doesn't mean I wouldn't like better AC in the summer.

The problem isn't fixing the A/C.

The problem is the A/C is working fine but is not cold enough for one person.

They don't want to take their sweater off but insist the A/C has to be fixed.

That lame ass Alef 12 point on a white screen is hard on the eyes.

People write long ass paragraphs and that puts me to sleep.

We are given the option to use different colors and different fonts in different sizes.

When everyone uses the same font and same size, everyone's voice becomes the same. I end up quit reading the blog after a sentence or two, as it takes too much effort to concentrate on what is being said.
