Really depends on my mood to what am reading, just finished listening to a cute audiobook that is almost like an old old game of DnD called "How to defeat a Demon King in 10 steps".

Loved Merry Gentry series as well... one princess and all her consorts.

Or if can find the title in my collection where mages are born and their magic is gained from a certain emotion, its a good series and does end up in a 4 way relationship with one girl and 3 guys

I agree about the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.
I also suggest Any Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett.
I also like the Stainless Steel Rat series.

If you want to do discworld then this site has an ace chart of how to read it - it’s a bit intimidating at first.
The Tiffany aching series was my intro and I’ve loved it!
