Covid beaten
Oh no I got a cough, my chest feels like it's kind of tight, I'm struggling to get my breath, I'm not well tonight
Temperature is raging, my head is pounding too, I better call the doctor out, what else can I do
He took a swab and sent it off, it came back with bad news, I have Covid 19, so all visits I must refuse
Carers all dressed like space men, come in every day, I'd be lost without their help, what more can I say
Now starts the fight back, I'm not ready to let it win, I'm far to selfish to just give up, so let the war begin
Feeling really hot, pain pounding through my head, struggling to get my breath, just laying in my bed
They say that I am vulnerable because I cant move about, but they dont know me very well, so let me scream and shout
Take your best shot Covid, I'm going nowhere fast, I may be a helpless cripple but I was built to last
Twelve day have gone passed now, I'm told I'm in the clear, remember to tell your people to stay safe, let's make it through this year
