The high seas
Standing on the Quarter deck the Poet Pirate spies a prize, he runs out the colours, he prepares to take them by surprise
He steers along side her, the cannon's are run out, then from across the other ship, he hears a maiden shout
The Pirate poet boards the ship, he is greeted with great surprise, standing right before him is the "Blushing blade", there before his eyes
She is the most wonderous sight, nothing more beautiful has he seen, he had heard all the stories about this Pirate ocean going Queen
She has taken many ships, with the flash of cannon and the clash of Steel, he wondered were they just tall tales or were the rumours real
He told her to hand over the ship, no one has to die, she pulled out a pistol and her cutlass and said I'd like to see him try
With clash of sword they started, she had such skill and grace, but she was going to fight to the end no quarter given was in place
Blocking, moving, with each other, their moves seemed like a erotic dance, each looking to strike the killer blow, if they got the chance
Then with a telling move the poet Pirate disarmed his foe, he pinned her to the main mast, she screamed at him to be let go
He told he would release her, if she promised to agree to his one wish, she must share her plunder and give him a loving kiss
She agreed to the plunder, but he would have to fight her for his kiss, he said the next time they did battle he would taste such bliss
The sound of sword on sword rang out, the Pirate poet against the Blushing blade, a battle for supremacy, it's how Pirate tales were made
Did it end in a death, was the winners kiss lost or won, I guess it must of ended well, as two ships sailed off together in the Sun
