If you could spend the night with me, would you share my lonely bed, would you share your body, until both our desires have been fed
Would you give me your heart, would you be my only girl, would you take a chance on us, give our love a whirl
If you could step across the void, would you climb out from inside my mind, would you be my partner, the true and loving kind
If you could share your body, would you make me your sexual choice, would you whisper romantic things, with your angel voice
Would you wrap your arms around me, would you hold me through the night, kiss me with your tender lips, make love to me tonight
If you could step out of my poetry, be real and not just a girl of lines, be the girl I dream of not just a girl of rhymes
So would you step off the page, I really wish you could, given the chance to be with me, I only hope you would
