Don't normally put my collaboration from my other poetry page here but I loved this and wanted to share with you all.
My friend reviewed my poem with snippets and stanzas so we blended then in as one to be like to hearts sending out the same hopes across the void

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS
If you could reach across the void, would your hand meet mine, would I be the one you'd pick, to share your precious time
if I were to reach within your soul
would you open the closed pages
so I can read your hearts journey
If you could wrap yourself around me, would your embrace be so tight, would I be the lucky one, you've chosen on this night
if I stood before you hiding nothing
naked in body, mind, heart & soul
would you walk away or stay
Would you lay your head on my chest, our fingers mingled into one, an evening shared across the void, until the night is done
if I was to look into your eyes
would you see my soul in mine
or just breathe deeply as I cry
If you could see into my soul, reach in and find my heart, would you share such a special gift, until we had to part
If I was to confess all my desires
secretly whispering while you slumber
would your spirit rise kissing mine
Would I be the chosen one, the man who shares your dreams, would I be your special man, the one you want it seems
if I captured a falling star
and we both wished upon it
would you wish the same as I
Or is there someone else, who wanders through your dreams and heart and I'm just wishing on a falling star, destined to crash apart
if I were to tiptoe secretly among shadows
hoping that another is just an illusion
would you feel my presence peeking
I guess these things I'll never know, only you can seal my fate, will I be your chosen dream lover, or just your poet mate
