Ensnared
It only takes a moment to be ensnared by her pretty eyes, you start to search her body, from her head down to past her thighs
Her curves are so beautiful, in your mind she's wearing lace but you can't tear your eyes away from her pretty face
She's such a stunning beauty, the girl who shares your night, you hope that she visits you, every single night
You want to pay her homage so you put her perfection down in rhyme, then send it out into the universe to grace her for all time
You search for the superlatives, to give the world a clue, how beautiful this Goddess is and what she needs to you
But though you write poetry your words never seem enough, searching for the right stanzas, can often get real tough
You rack your brain looking, you write then write again, all art takes anguish, but there's Sunshine after rain
So no matter how hard the struggle, it's always darkest before the dawn, so you push on to write for her and never get forlorn
Because even though you may think you've fell short when trying to find the words to say, dearest Goddess you are beautiful and I think of you each day
