All I write

You are the one I write about, I hope you already know, I pick specific words out, then I pray that they will show

I hope you see snippets of yourself, hidden deep within each line, subtle hints of how I feel, shared within my rhyme

Small hints that i hope will show, this poetry is based on you, to make you feel special and desired too

Stanzas that anyone could read, but the hints would pass them by, secrets from within my heart, I hope they make you sigh

Words that act like a mirror, so you can see how beautiful you are, lines that act like my hands, reaching from a far

Stretching across the poetry void, to hold your hand so tight, stealing fleeting moments, that will inspire all I write
