Bumblebee
Like a Bumblebee in Summer I'd hovering around your Rose, so thirsty for you nectar my need just grows and grows
Desperate to take a sip, I'd wish to devour all your wine, then turn it into honey, knowing its taste would be devine
I'd move into your petals, you would open them for me nice and wide, my mouth would land on your roses edge as my tongue just glides inside
My tongue would dip in so furiously, the taste of you just can't be beat, they may be many flowers but this is the only one from which I'd eat
I'd sip and lick your Rose bud, from you dewy petals I take my fill, now I'd never get thirsty, your nourishment seems so real
But I'm not a Bumblebee free flying in the Sun, I'm a paralyzed poet, whose flying days are done
But if I were that Bumblebee, from your flower I would feed, because I'm sure your gorgeous nectar would be the only food I'd need
