Fleeting moments with her
Bathed in the Summer sun we walk together on soft golden sand, the Turquoise sea laps at our toes as we lay there hand in hand
Wrapped in warm winters clothes we walk leaving footprints in the snow, the chilly wind bites at our skin, we take it safe and slow
Crowds rush by on the city streets but we pay them little mind, when we're together no one else counts, the world gets left behind
Your skipping through a meadow, you're collecting pretty wild flowers, you move so effortlessly I could watch you skip for hours
Standing in the pouring rain a large umbrellas ours to share, I would go out in a storm with you, I simply wouldn't care
Spending time with Mother nature, together in a dark wild wood, walking through the tall Oak trees, how I wish I really could
But sadly they are all wishes, dreams and thoughts living in my head, because I'm all alone and paralyzed writing wishful poems from my bed
