Five things I like about me:
1. My eyes
2. The way I love: whether it be family, friends, or a significant other, once I love you, I love you hard and loyal. Just be forewarned, I am big hugger!
3. My humor: I’d always rather laugh then cry. Sarcasm is a language and should have its own font. And “the sass is strong with this one.” Truth!
4. My resilience: once I have my mind made up to do something, I don’t stop until I have done it. Tell me I can’t? And them’s is fightin words.
5. My morality: if I believe in something, I stand by it. Even if it’s not the popular vote. I try to be good to people and consider it my responsibility to raise good caring, compassionate human beings (my kids 💖).
Five things I don’t like:
1. Sometimes my flabby stretch marked skin and sometimes I’m like-eh.....whatever! Depends on my mood.
2. That I cry too easily: sadness, anger, happiness, suppressing anger, high tension situations, coming down from anger, high stress situations or if I’m saying something that’s very personal to me....they are all fair game. It’s annoying. Because a lot of people assume if you’re crying your sad or upset. Makes me feel vulnerable and weak.
3. I can be naive: even though I try hard not to be, I can be too nice to people who don’t deserve it, give people too many chances and take too long sometimes to recognize that someone doesn’t have my best interest at heart.
4. I’m too hard on myself: I’m my own worst critic, I think hard and long, and don’t forgive myself as easily as I should sometimes.
5. It’s hard for me to fully forgive: once someone has truly hurt or done me dirty, the walls go up because I’m always worried that it will happen again. I do try, but I will be on guard.
