Finding Myself

3 years ago. March 15, 2021 at 8:02 PM

After a while of searching, of both myself and for others, I have come to the conclusion that the one I have been looking for was already there in front of me and I missed the Daddy through the Doms, so to speak.

I won't mention names - I'm not allowed to, for one, and two, I haven't met my goal to prove myself to him yet - And before you all start ranting and raving about how "You shouldn't have to prove yourself to your Dom" - I DO have to prove myself.

I have wrung this Dom out to dry two times before this, unsure of myself and my place in the world. I need to prove to him that I am serious about being true to myself, true to him, and true to this lifestyle.

SOOOOO. On to losing the weight that I've been steadily gaining over the years. How do I do it? He has suggested going on a thousand-calorie diet, but I just find myself not sticking to it. So... I need to exercise more, perhaps? Or one of those "Fad" diets, such as Atkins or Keto?

I don't think I eat "all the time." I don't eat HEALTHILY is the problem. I like spaghettios over real spaghetti, for example. I like chips over vegetables. That kind of thing.

What would everyone recommend for losing weight? Keep yourself busy? I try, but I find myself 'hungry' during busy times.... hmmm maybe I"m just bored and need to learn what is bored and what is hungry.

Rivermxl - The best advice you can get is to go see a nutritionist. If well trained, a professional in the field of nutrition must have answers to all of your food and eating inquiries. I'm a nutritionist myself but there's no safe way to provide quality nutritional care via online interactions only.

Likeavirgin(sub female) - As someone who struggles with weight, I found that watching my portions, not allowing overeating and increasing the exercising on a daily basis is working for me. I wouldn't trust a fad diet. Find what works and motivates you 😊

Mufasadagreat - I found that staying away from red meat helps a lot. I’m not saying totally don’t eat red meat but pick days you only eat white meat and seafood. The body takes longer to digest red meat so it harder to burn off.

Azure Kitsune(sub female) - I am a dietitian and I urge you to go see a dietitian. This is dangerous behavior.

Dom for her soul(dom male) - You have read the comments please listen. What you are doing is not healthy and it is dangerously wrong.

SirsBabyDoll(sub female){Pizza+☕} - Ok, first, the human body REQUIRES a MINIMUM of 2000 calories a day and that is IF you are already in the normal range.

1000 calories? Maybe if you are under the age of 10!!!

Start with little changes. Park further away from a store door so you have to walk more. Swap out the regular spaghetti O's for the vegan kind made from veggies. Eat multi grain chips instead of regular corn. Remove rice, corn, and peas and switch them for green beans, califlower, spinach, broccoli.

High fiber breads and grains and beans will keep you fuller, longer and prevent glucose spikes and drops which make you crave carbs.

Eat turkey anything Instead of pork.

Decrease the red meat PORTIONS but have at it.

Swap out soda and go with flavored seltzer instead.

Stay AWAY from ANYTHING labeled "Diet"!!!!

Again, make small changes FIRST and get used to a new eating habit. You will find that you will be able to taste your food with more intensity than ever before.

Miss Magdalena(sub female){FreeSpirit} - It sounds like you identify some potentially unhealthy eating habits and you want to improve and make healthier choices. I think a lot of what you’re reading here are the concerns regarding your physical health and making sure you’re seeking the advice of a healthcare professional. Your potential mate made the suggestion of 1000 calorie diet, but my hope is that after reading some of the comments you both reconsider that suggestion. A 1000 calories a day is unrealistic, unhealthy, and will inevitably set you up for failure which will not benefit you and your desire to prove yourself to yourself or anyone else. My suggestion is start with keeping yourself hydrated by drinking lots of water, (most folks don’t meet their minimum water intake so you’d be a step ahead), and invest this initial momentum you have in making an appointment with your primary care physician to go over your local options.
On a personal level, I completely understand wanting to make your partner proud and wanting to go that extra mile for them. Inspiration and motivation are the things that can give us that push when we need it, but it’s important to remember that Personal Responsibility will ultimately be the thing that makes you victorious. Simply put, if you can accept personal responsibility for your dreams, goals, and decisions you will be a more desirable partner and will be able to demand the same in return.
Good luck in your journey!
