Let’s talk about sex toys! :)
I've gotten sooooooooooo many toys over the last few years! The girls at the local lingerie shop know me, I even have a customer loyalty card that gives me points for everything I buy.
But it wasn't always so easy. I'd feel shame and embarrassed to go there at first. I nearly died of shame the first time a sales girl asked me if she could help me find anything. Since the, I got over that little by little and now I can talk about sex toys with ease. I wish I had another woman to talk with and get advice from when I first started. I think I would have passed out if I had to have spoken to a man about sex toys at that stage of my life.
So here is my personal opinion about different type of toys:
Remote toys : These are AMAZING!!! I can personally recommend a brand (Please message me if interested as I do not want to advertise publicly)
Glass toys: Glass is a little more expensive but WORTH it!! It is easy to clean and last a lot longer. Just because a toy is clear, does not mean is made of glass.
Metal toys: My new anal plug is the first metal toy I ever got but I am in love with it and I planning to get more. I highly recommend getting glass or metal for any anal play, but rubber and silicone are fine to start with because they are flexible. Considering to were it's going. you need to be able to clean it, and the rubber ones hold a umm... an "odor" sooo, you know it's not getting as clean as it could be and that can be bad.
Rubber toys: suitable for beginners and mostly for oral and vaginal play. They are flexible so they can be more comfortable, especially for beginners. They need to be cleaned thoroughly after each use and they might have an odor (especially the chapter ones).
