It may sound irrelevant but I had to share my feelings about my country. I put these posts on many websites but no one listens.

For those friends across all of the continent, please hear my call

I'm a 26 years old guy from Iran. I have graduated from University with the bachelor degree of power engineering and by now, I haven't found a related job of my own Major. I have no Proper job for almost 2 years (my salary was at best 140$ as a translator) and you may wonder why 140$? Because, 1 dollar is now 16000 more stronger that my money (Toman) Please, think who can live with such salary?

I live with my family and I don't have a place of my own. I see my father struggling to provide food, cloth for his family and his newly wedded daughter. Maybe, he doesn't show us but he may be even crying, smoking all day. I fear that this struggle may finish him and leave us orphans, Which I afraid of it the most. I don't care about myself, no more. Only my family.

In the next couple of days, more prohibition shall be applied to Iran from all over the world and the current situation shall get worst. No one shall be able to have a home, have food, cloth and ...

I don't know why everyone around of the world hates us! American government sees us as the terrorist. Why can't you understand for one second that maybe it is not people you hate. You don't want our government, I understand that. Our people are innocent. I don't care about myself. I care about my people, who would suffer more than you think.

You know what is worst? That my government does nothing to fix this situation?
More people are suffering today in My country. I hate to say it but maybe government doesn't like his people. I don't know about politics but I know this: that people need help.

I'm afraid that in the next couple of years, you won't hear of Iran, their people living happily no more. Maybe there would be any people left to leave. Young people won't be able to study, work, marry and even have children, me included.

I'm hoping that a miracle, an angel may come and save us all. But they are all fairy tales to tell the children and people that everything will be better. But I afraid when this happens, no one will be around to tell the tale of Iran People.

Aliba7117(dom male) - Thank-you for understanding. Knowing that people around the world love us and may help us, gives us lots of hope. but I think we are beyond help now. It breaks my heart to say that I really need to get out of this country. I mean who wants to leave his country for good. However, the current situation in my country doesn't allow me to do so. I live in a country where hopes and humanity's basic needs have no meaning. I'm hopeless really.

Bunnie - My heart goes out to you, Aliba... I have many friends who have had to flee their home country. It is heartbreaking. I too hope for everyone involved in the situation, that change occurs. It doesn’t hurt to believe in miracles or angels... hope can be an amazing thing.

You know I have plans for study abroad in the past 8 month but every thing changed in a heartbeat, in 4 month and now, I don't have the ability ability to afford this kind of journey. My plans faced with the failure.
We lost hope. But I want to believe that even though it may exist. But not with this current regime. They made my country faces with doom.

I can’t imagine the struggles you and your family face on a daily basis. The pride for the country you call home and love is palpable, and it makes me sad that the stereotypes of your country shadow the culture and beauty I know is still there. I promise you, not all Americans think you are terrorists; the stupid ones believe that. It is unfortunate and heartbreaking that the groups that terrorize do so in the name of Allah (swt) as, at least in my eyes,they are not true followers of their faith. They have stained those who are faithful and peaceful and that breaks my heart for you and your people. We know the hateful groups are the terrorists and not the people of Iran who are also being terrorized by these groups.

From one human being to another, I hope that you and your family continue to stay safe, stay strong, stay faithful, and stay together. Though I am Christian, if you are a follower of Islam, may Allah(swt) watch over and protect you and your family, and may He bring peace, love, and restoration to your homeland. May you stay faithful in your Duaas. (Also, a belated Eid Ramadan and Eid Mubarak). I hope you don’t mind, but I will say prayers for you and your family as well; I don’t know how to bring peace to your people other than to pray and stay faithful that God / Allah(swt) bring peace.

Aliba7117(dom male) - Aliba7117(dom male) - My government taught his people that America is Bad, England is bad and every where but Iran government is good. But it is not true. If that was the case, our people would have leaved in heaven. You Christians have more faith than us. My government used Islam as a means for controlling his people and make them obey. They used it for getting what they want.
You, my sister, made me cry by your warm and Encouraging words. Knowing that you believe in us and pray for us made me so happy. I hope what you are praying for us come true. I hope your prays come true for us. I hope that you reach your goal and be happy in life. I pray for you, too.
