I feel you, watching and waiting for my movements. Anticipating my needs and desires as if you are walking in my shoes.
In my condemnation I feel the shame and darkness. It towers over me, ever present until I found mercy in you.
It was if I were Judas, deep in my pain and suffering. It is then that you grabbed my hand softly and lead me to that special place in your room.
Your calming voice with it’s soothing tone whispers “Get right with me.”
Peace fills my mind and there was no rush in the process of redemption. The weight of it all melting away.
In my darkness, it only took one caress from your gentleness to bring the light. You were there and brought a higher love to my being.
My joy is knowing that I have been brought back and am no longer kneeling at Deaths door. It will be in faith and devotion that I will walk from this day forward.
