A place to share my oh so very random thoughts, stories, creativity & whatever else I see fit as I travel this road.

Self-pity
I never saw a wild thing
sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.

D.H. Lawrence

A Cloud(sub female){Owned} - I love this quote and I generally dislike quotes.

Sasa(dom female) - For me it was always senseless to compare apples with pears. Well, a bird is closer to an reptile than anything else and we on the other hand are highly developed mammals. I understand that people don't want some sorts of pain. We try to understand, avoiding it, start to judge it by labels like self-pity and the idea to move on, which never worked except for some special individuals we should never meet. Humans have the privilege and the curse to feel. Only part of what we are including that we have the power to work through it, write nice poems and have a more or less free will. A reptile with beautiful feathers is not my role model 😊 and hopefully not yours.
