Many moons, many thoughts

My place where I express thoughts, feelings, intuitions and experiences on my journey into my hearts desire, my sacred submission which is the very core of my being.

She sat at the back and they said she was shy,

She led from the front and they hated her pride,

They asked her advice and then questioned her guidance,

They branded her loud, then were shocked by her silence,

When she shared no ambition they said it was sad,

So she told them her dreams and they said she was mad,

They told her they'd listen, then covered their ears,

And gave her a hug while they laughed at her fears,

And she listened to all of it thinking she should,

Be the girl they told her to be best as she could,

But one day she asked what was best for herself,

Instead of trying to please everyone else,

So she walked to the forest and stood with the trees,

She heard the wind whisper and dance with the leaves,

She spoke to the willow, the elm and the pine,

And she told them what she'd been told time after time,

She told them she felt she was never enough,

She was either too little or far far too much,

Too loud or too quiet, too fierce or too weak,

Too wise or too foolish, too bold or too meek,

Then she found a small clearing surrounded by firs,

And she stopped...and she heard what the trees said to her,

And she sat there for hours not wanting to leave,

For the forest said nothing, it just let her breathe' 💜💚💜

Bunnie - Beautiful. Can I ask please, who wrote this?

My Dear{Trust} - Per Google searches, all I can turn up is an anonymous author; it is beautifully written though!

My Dear{Trust} - Not trying to be offensive You, but you should note it as such on the post. To not do so makes it seem as if you are claiming these words as your own.

Apkrodite(sub female){ForeverHis} - These are words for anyone.and everyone,.they are not my own..as You can see I have written anonymous in the comments.
This is my blog I do not need a gate keeper. I Will write how I wish to..thank you for your advice though.

Bunnie - It’s not about gate keeping, it’s about giving the recognised respect to those who have put their hard work and efforts out there for others to enjoy, that’s all :) I just loved it and was hoping to find more of their writing.

My Dear{Trust} - It is about showing your truth. When anyone posts words it is assumed by the reader those words came from within that someone. To not give credit where it is due gives the impression that one either claims the words of another as their own, or that one is comfortable allowing others to assume those words were theirs to begin with.

I've been the one whose words were presented without credit given. I've actually had someone sharing my words tell me wheni asked that those words were strung together by them.

Crediting the author, even if it is anonymous, may seem small to some but it is in fact a statement of character. It is caring enough about crediting the author and not taking misplaced credit to be true with the reader. It is caring to present ones words with honesty and integrity.
It is also, I believe, one of the rules of this site.

It is the little things we do that speak volumes.

Apkrodite(sub female){ForeverHis} - Well assuming things never served anyone. Right? . Also in my blogs I always put the author if it is not me. Yes it is the little things that speak thier truth. If I knew the author it would of been written.. Simple

Apkrodite(sub female){ForeverHis} - That comment from me Bunnie was not aimed at you..I've searched and searched and cannot find the author 😔

Bunnie - It happens :( some of the most beautiful writings I’ve encountered were done anonymously.

Sweet Ginger(sub female){âš“ } - Yuo! Pretty much sums it all up... I can relate.... totally loved it! Thank you for sharing it.

BellaEtAl(masochist female) - This resonates deeply. For many, I believe. The author's anonymity makes it a work capable of being considered as the reader's own reflections.
