A Very Special Munch

This munch like most, had started out with warm welcomes and a beautiful atmosphere. An outside potluck, seeing old and new friends. Good vibes and a sense of belonging. This time of year we let go of the old to embrace the new, and that is exactly how the munch felt. From the very beginning all the way to the end, it was truly a new beginning. We had no clue just what was about to take place, and what a beginning it was!!!
The Twist:
So there were about 50 or so kinksters who had shown up. Everyone was having a splendid time. Papa Bear stood and asked us all to give our support and congratulations to a very wonderful, loving, kind and generous woman, whom we have all come to love and adore, Ms. Sweet Willow.
Now let me tell you, none of us to include our sweet lady of the hour, knew anything of what was about to transpire. And our Sweet Willow was about to be blown away.
At this time, Papa Bear asked Willow to sit down and then went on to ask the rest of us to place our hands on Willow’s shoulders. We all rushed up to do so. There were so many of us and such an out pouring of support and emotion being given to this lovely lady. So much love, support and energy!
Papa Bear went on to say that Master-slave Sayuri Kane couldn’t be there in person so she had asked Papa Bear to read a letter she had written to Sweet Willow.
The letter read:
“Willow, you’ve been in the lifestyle a good, long while now and you’ve always helped and volunteered whenever it was needed. You have stood up for what is right and protected those in need. No matter what happens in your personal life, you have always displayed the tenets of leather: Respect, Honor, Integrity, and Honesty. Because of this, I, Master-slave Sayuri Kane, feel that you have completely earned your vest. Wear it with pride, as I am very proud of you! Congratulations!”
At this point, Papa Bear proceeded to place Willows' vest on her.
In his place, another dear friend and leather slave came forward, removed her shoes and knelt, barefoot on the pavement in front of Willow. She then told the story of a family heirloom ring that survived two wars and the family buried the jewelry when they were taken away to the camps in the holocaust. The heirlooms were retrieved and made the long journey across the ocean to the United States. She then gave Willow one of her treasured rings. It was such a genuine, touching and beautiful sentiment to honor, not only her friend, but now a sister in leather.
Then a call came and you could feel the excitement in the air. There was a thankful, heart-felt squeal. Tears of joy, happiness and love from dear friends, congratulating Willow on a monumental occasion following her determination, dedication and pure will.
Willow later said, “This is the moment I couldn’t help but cry. All I know is my heart swelled so much that it started leaking from my eyes in happiness and so much emotion. And that’s the moment this felt real.”
To finish off the ceremony, E came forward with a pin. Papa Bear stood with his hand bracing Willow’s back and E pushed the pin through the leather and smacked it into her chest. (This creates a blood bond between the wearer and their leather). A true joy and honor for me along with the rest of our kinky community to witness such a dedicated and loving lady, a deserving lady in every way possible, to be honored and accepted after years of hard work and dedication.
This was in fact truly humbling. And I am truly honored to call you my friend. Thank you for who you are and being a part of my life, Ms. Sweet Willow.
