Today is the anniversary of my father's death.
The day this girl's life was changed forever. The one that kept me safe from the world GONE.
My father was a Master in honorific. Though I never knew until long after his death. His slaves adored Him.
His daughter adored Him. The strongest man I knew grew weak before my eyes. Even in death His presence so very beautiful and strong.
My beautiful Father, I miss you more today. I hope when you look down on me from the stars you're proud of who and what your Daughter has become. I fulfilled every promise. I miss you MORE today. I would give my heart to hug you one more time. To laugh at your dry humor. Knowing today things said In code so I didn't understand.
Thank you for giving me a chance at life. Adopting an abused child and giving her a chance at life. Thank you for teaching me respect, loyalty, integrity and honor.
Thank you for seeing me. And someday my true Master will see me with the same eyes as you. You seen beauty within the brokeness of me.
