I quite agree. I don’t consider myself classically country in the way that people inevitably picture Southern people. I do, however, have a deep appreciation for my surroundings. I much prefer this slower pace of life as opposed to the crowdedness of larger cities.

How neat all the people that are in the general area!! I do think I did a lot of hiking haha I find it rejuvenating and restorative. The corn was indeed from one of our gardens one year…So. Much. Corn. The entire kitchen floor was covered in ears that we had to wade thru. And the blanching….😅😅
