Shadows Den

We walk upon the beach hand in hand with the warm sand upon the soles of our feet. The waves softly lapping at the sand as we walk by speaking softly to each other the words that we hold in our hearts for one another. We stop and look at the sun as it slowly descends painting the sky with shades of red, orange and hues of purple. We turn to speak and our eyes meet then our lips meet as we kiss out lips slowly part and our tongues softly dance and tease each other. Slowly the world seems to melt away until all that is left is the sounds of two hearts racing in time with each other until they seem to melt and become one heart beat. As our lips slowly part from one another the world around us rushes back in flooding our ears with sounds of the world around us. The waves now softly lap at our feet rolling over and around our feet. The once brilliant sky lit with its Reds Oranges and Vibrant hues of Purple has now been replaces as if by magic with a black curtain speckles with small pin pricks of light. The real world comes crashing back in around me as my alarm goes off filling my ears with the sound of its buzzer. I press the snooze button and roll over before closing my eyes to once more be with you my Dream Lover. Until I hold you in my arms I will hold you in my dreams.
