Is a Dom Not Human???

Is a Dom not human with human feelings and emotions? It seems I am not suppose to have feelings or emotions.

I have worn a mask all my life; nobody knows or understands me.
They think I have it all good...look harder and you will really see.
I love you, Mom, and I'm really trying to find a way.

That's part of the reason I am who I am today
But I'm on the right track; I'm determined to find my way.

All because you said you loved me and it will be okay
I used to live each day with no hopes for tomorrow
Walking with my head down filled with shame and sorrow.

Amor Animus(dom male) - Chin up. Tomorrow’s a new day. It’s of course ok for a Dom to have feelings, emotions. Dom’s are humans. Don’t let anyone ever tell you differently.

ShadowWolfDancer(dom male) - I'm done trusting and allowing people close to me. I spent more then a year where I am working as a CO in a prison will murders and all sorts of Felons because I thought someone cared about me, only to be told I'm being thrown out on to the streets in 3 days time.

Amor Animus(dom male) - All I can say is that I have been in a place where you don’t trust anyone. I’m barely out of it myself. People continue to prove to me that they’re flawed and human; untrustworthy. It sucks. Yet, there are those that are different. It takes time to find them. Godspeed SWD. I mean that with sincerity.

SageFlame(sub female) - The betrayal you mention must hit hard! This, on top of being expected to show your strongside 24/7 must be exhausting. There are no wrong feelings only that which is true for you. So I'm Not going to say stay strong, I'm going to say feel what you feel and keep it real. Thank you for sharing.

gibsontank(dom male) - It does take its toll. Everyone has expectations of you and sometimes those expectations get to be too much or you get nothing of value in return for it. I’m starting to lose faith in people in general. Seems like no one is loyal anymore and only want what they can get from you.
