It's close to midnight...
Only clouds and muted slivers of moonlight grace the sky....
The smells of fresh rain, pine trees, moss....
And the smell of fear...

She started running maybe a half hour ago.
I can catch the barest hints or perfume, and sweat in the forest.
A slight trail of branches broken in haste.
I listen, using the keenest sense I have out here in the pitch black....
Crickets...
Wind rustling the trees ever so slightly
A deer snorting up hill

I continue  listening  as I quietly  stalk through the woods.
Only using my sight to pick out my path so I don't make a sound.
I know she went due east, uphill towards the mountains.
And she left at a dead run, silly prey wearing itself thin right at the start.
The real chase comes later...
I start to smell her, before I her her heavy breathing.
She fled as prey is want to do.
I took my time, confident in the hunt.
Made for nights like these.

I get closer, almost dangerously  close before I purposefully step on a thicker branch snapping it loudly...

She starts upright into a dead run again, this time going north, to her credit she didn't scream.
I note her path and stay low as I follow, trying to avoid any possible  backwards glance, just to evoke a bit more uncertainty and with it....fear.
I let her get just out of sight before I give a lackadaisical  chase, making a good bit of noise just to give her a reason to tire herself...
Within minutes  I stop dead to listen, catching her breaking branches heading back down hill.
A perfect chance to close distance again.
I dash downhill, only trying to avoid major pitfalls  and leaping over the rest.
Soon I stop again to listen....

The noise has driven her almost back to where she started, her path starting to go south again by the sounds...
Once more I go into a dead run, planning on cutting her off....
Run rabbit run...
Soon I stop once more to listen...
I can hear her panting now...
So I get low, and creep slowly, and quietly as close as I can again.
This time there's no playing around...
I see her in the darkness slumped against a large mushroom encrusted  stump.
Her breast heaving with exhaustion after hours of off and on again pursuit.
I've scared her, cut her off, and even set myself in her path multiple times...

She's to tired to even resist at this point.
She's to tired to not make a mistake at this point....
I get just within reach before I let that Beast inside growl its loud anticipation...
She's screaming and running again, but I saved my energy just for this.
She only gets maybe twenty yards before I've got a hand around the back of her neck.
She gasps and screams as I use my grip and weight to drag her back and down, face down in the moss.

I simultaneously bite into her shoulder as I use my free hand to grab her pants and tear them off of her.
Screams, muffled by moss as she starts to flail.
I use my body to pin her down grabbing a wrist and wrenching it behind her back.
Her struggles lack all the energy she started with, but still she fights which is what makes it so fun.
I've flipped  her over to get the other arm under control and above her head, and pinned one leg with my knee.

I use my free hand to tear the front off her shirt before I start tasting her neck, if she struggles now my teeth can be on her throat in a second as my hand explores her body ever downward.

I take the time to release my member, positioning  myself to make sure it slaps against her most sensitive skin, evoking a gasp from her and a sudden energy to her struggle.
I pay no heed and probe her with a finger, finding her aroused.
I take her in one long slow thrust til our bodies meet, enjoying the moan this creates.
The prize of a successful  hunt...
