Looking help being safe

So, I did like the checklist on this site, but I don't think he would take it all the way through. Do you happen to have any resources that might be a bit shorter but still have the explanations? That really helped me to pin down my likes and dislikes. However, I am an avid spicy reader and know a lot of the terms already and the pleasure it might bring. I don't think he has this knowledge and would like to ease him into it.
