Just a small update
Got the the falls cut
40 falls and all
16 inches long
1/2 in wide
Now comes the fun part
Gluing them in
Oh joy

could you leave all the falls attached to the edge....like not cut them all the way and then just roll them up. In my head that would easier than one by one glueing

The funny part is: 35 minutes after I post this, I was done gluing in all the the falls. It was much simpler than I had thought. I wanted to glue the falls on the edge of the rubber stopper, so the center of the rod clear to see how much light will come through
