Sweet Ginger​(sub female){⚓ } - I loved reading romance novels, especially as a pre-teen. Still guilty of reading them occasionally..why? For the fantasy..not so much thinking my "prince charming " will come rescue me..just the fantasy of getting away from the craziness of life sometimes..

People are flawed, [all of us]..*we* do and say things, we sometimes regret and some people will say whatever they think you want to hear..

The "key" I think is listening with your heart..see if people's word's match their actions..it's ok, if "prince charming " is a little tarnished as long as he treats you well. Is a good man and has integrity..thats almost as impossible to find as a Disney prince 🤴 charming.

In the early days, when Kitty would come and visit, while hiking, she took a picture of our legs and feet resting together …… with the canyon in the background.
(I assume it’s kind of like an Instagram pic. I don’t do Social media).
I had it made into a poster and framed, with the text “I like who I am when we’re together” on the top left in big letters.
We still have it, in the home office.
