As I posted in Kiev's Blog, This is my opportunity to thank my brothers and sisters in uniform and all those of you who consider yourselves part of our on-line family. Everyone who put on the uniform of any branch of the military knew the ultimate risk you took ... clerks, mechanics, and medicos to name but a few ... ALL shared the risk and were important ... if you hadn't been there, none of us would have had planes to climb into ... nor would we have had hope of surviving if we made it back. Most of my Cage family has heard me talk of my health issues that result from my service ... I urge you to remember that all those who served were important ... not just those of us who climbed into those planes or picked up a rifle. And, all of you are important as well ... since we couldn't do it without your support. And finally, please remember to thank the families of those who served.
