I feel the warm summer breeze wash over my body. The smell of freshly turned earth fills my senses. I open my eyes and see in the distance thunderhead clouds rolling towards me. The low rumble of thunder sounds. The hairs on the back of my neck rise.
I watch the clouds. Churning, pushing forward, towards me. The breeze turns to a forceful wind. Pushing the scent of rain ahead. I inhale deeply. Goosebumps rise upon my flesh.
I plant my bare feet on the grasses. Grounding myself. Feeling the earth breath. My heart pounds as the thunder cracks.
I close my eyes as the rains begin. Soft and cool. One by one they kiss my tanned skin. Trailing down my body. My nipples tighten as cool air washes me.
My energy builds. The earth trembles. Lighting fingers out, reaching for me, crashing into the earth. Thunder deafens my ears. Cold rain stings my face.
My eyes snap open, I throw my head back and hold my arms out to my side. With such power I face the storm and a guttural sound I scream.
