"click the link" meant making sure the gate was shut.
A "mouse" was only a rodent.
"wallpaper" was only something people on drugs could properly install on your walls.
"tik tok" went the clock.
Getting "likes" meant cards from other students on valentines day.
When I sent something to "the cloud", I got busted for illegal possession of explosives. 🤭
"roaming" meant without a map.
"google" was some weird caricature named Barney from way back . . . Strange eyes if I remember right.
A "router" was a tool I was first introduced to in middle school woodshop class.
"subscribe" was something I asked people to do so I could get my commission from the magazine company I worked for (what a racket that was!).
"cookies" was like, yes please 😃 - certainly never expected they might one day track and profile me.
"voicemail" was a message on my machine.
An "app" or application, was something I dreaded.
A "brick" was something we built shelters with, not $700 paper weights. (im saving up to see how many junk cell phones it will take to build a shed).
"ghosting" someone meant 10 to 12 if you got caught.
A "tablet" was paper and a "laptop" was something girlfriends sat on.
And
"face time" meant . . . well 😏
