What's a submissive?

Please know, im not being funny or sarcastic, and certainly not trying to offend anyone. And this subject may have been very well defined by others in the past, but well, memory . . . ya know?

I have had several, we'll call them relationships - people ive gotten to know very well, who ended up saying "I dont think im a submissive after all"

and more recently, confusion over what being a submissive means, or entails, or "how to act".

Suppose I am brand new to the planet, I know nothing of human behavior -

So, whats this "submissive" I keep hearing about?

A very valid point indeed Ms,
Yes - see, it seems being a Dominant can readily be defined as our more seasoned fine Dominants on here can describe what one is - or should be. All their definitions fall within the same brackets more or less, right? But when asked "whats a submissive?" As I have here, it kinda leaves one scratching their head.

Curiousmind(sub female){Owned} - To me submission is when my soul bends to another soul in the way that makes me long to be in their will , their authority and power over me. It’s a very rare state of mind. By looking and talking to me in every day life you would think i am a very strong, independent, opinionated and even controlling creature:)
But it takes that special person and very rare one ( that’s why it’s not an easy match…not easy to find) that makes my whole being to want not even to want, but to long to submit and being his slave.
