I had such a great time! I teach an instagram live feed class every Sunday 10 AM MST.

Today was poor and proud in BDSM.

I had the best time!!!!

I talked about candor, how to go to events on no money, how to more objectively look at others dungeons and toys.

I walked around our dungeon and talked about each piece of equipment we have. I talked about our rack and how many of our toys were gifts.

But most importantly I talked about being honest about being poor with others-- and how many times that conversation alone will bond you for life.

I am on cloud 9-10-11!!!

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - Around my area a lot involves buying food from establishments and entrance fees it adds up. Now I'm hardly working so couldn't afford to go to much but school messes that up first. I don't trust myself to be a dungeon monitor yet for reduced entrance fee. Maybe one day. But im not afraid to tell people I'm broke it is life.

venia(sub female){Lextelonis} - Often if you volunteer for a cashier shift or a food service shift (at the Citadel, at least) you can get in for a reduced rate. DMing is obviously a much bigger commitment.

SchrodingersDinosaur(switch female) - There are also some dungeons and clubs that do scholarships. It's not usually advertised, but sometimes there is actually a fund put in place by benefactors to allow folks who might not be able participate to do so. It's worth at least an ask around.

MasterBear(other butch) - People that have organized events for a long time always love it when people ask what you need. One of the points that I brought up was if you want to make a friend forever bring septic safe 2-ply toilet paper

MasterBear(other butch) - Truth. But if you are like me and beloved we have to be careful about volunteering for positions that we can't physically handle. A lot of people with disabilities are shut out of volunteering unfortunately.
