Isla - Personally, I think it’s different for everyone. I find it important for anyone in the lifestyle (sub or Dom or anywhere in between) to keep some sort of something that represents your wants/needs and is independent from the lifestyle. If that means getting tattoos, then that’s your choice because it’s your body. You are giving yourself (all of it, tattoos, scars, beauty) as a gift. Some people don’t like tattoos, and that’s okay. You don’t have to be attracted to every single person you come across.

Personally I love tattoos and have four fairly large ones myself. They mean something to me and I got them for me.

Bunnie - I get caught between loving them and wanting to add more as I feel the urge (mine represent significant moments in my life, but are very discreet)... and loving having “clear” unmarked flesh for a Dom to use as a blank canvas. Not sure which will win... there’s about 5 still waiting in the shadows to be done lol.

Eisig​(dom male) - I believe that you will find that the majority are fine with tats, if not intrigued by them.
