Thank you......for providing me with something to think about. I can't put into words how reading this shocked and surprised me. I've had Doms on here tell me that that subs should be reducing a dom's stress, not adding to it by dragging up their past shit all the time. He wouldn't even let me express how my past abuse made me feel and how I thought it affected me. It made me feel guilty for not being more "mentally healthy".

The one benefit from the experience with him is that at some point, post-break up, I decided to just leave him off. I realised that I didn't need to defend myself against him anymore. He was no longer my pile of monkeys....and that by looking back at him, I couldn't look forward.
